Hiring!    Patient Services Coordinator

Fulltime: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Mon – Fri 

Pay rate:  $18.00 to $22.50 per hour.

Location:  Akron, OH

Growing Prosthetic and Orthotic Company looking for energetic, customer service-oriented person to join our Akron Patient Intake Team. Must be reliable and have a background in the medical field.

Job Duties:

• Supports staff by representing the company.
• Triages incoming telephone calls.
• Schedules patient appointments.
• Register Patients and verify demographics, patient’s insurance, diagnosis codes and referring physician.
• Preps charts.
• Obtains required documents from other physician offices.
• Enter notes in patient records.
• Coordinates various aspects of patient's care.
• Communicates Insurance benefits to patients and collects payment of patient balance.

* Punctuality and attendance are a key expectation for all employees
